Did not know "Joss" = Joseph Hill.

I really wish someone would ask him about what he is doing with the firefly/serenity franchise.
Just so we would have something fresh to talk about for a couple of days.
A little quote like.. "Its still something I think about, I had plans for sequels when I wrote Serenity".. would rekindle some hope.
Good read though...the boy Joss knows how to interview

Eventually there will just be Gap films and McDonald's films. And that will be it.
I love it when Joss gets on his soapbox and preach-y. Seriously, I do. Excellent interview.

And the DVD has done quite well -- although I'd love to bump that up more.
What?! Are there folks out there who still haven't purchased their Dr. Horrible DVD?
I cannot stress enough that at $10.49 on Amazon that it is WELL WORTH the money. Commentary! The Musical is nothing short of brilliant. And the ELE Applications are testament to the awesomeness and superiority of Whedon fans around the world. (Not to mention my kids can't stop singing them)
I believe whole-heartedly that Joss is blazing a trail for future filmmakers & story-tellers. I want this endeavor to be a success in every way. I don't want to watch reality shows on The Gap Network.

Agreed. This is the best interview of Joss I've ever read. I have a better take on his thinking in regards to his approach to his work, quite simply put - don't let anything stop you from telling a story.
Good stuff.
But I agree with Bringitback that they could have asked about the future of Firefly (even as a follow-up question). All in all, a great interview despite my nitpicking.

It can cost a fair bit more than $10.49, if it is available at all.

Is it just me or is Joss doing a lot of interviews that make you want to grab a camera and start making your own film, like, yesterday?
