A couple of people have already welcomed me, but I figured I would post a thread anyways. I just recently became a fan of the show. Serenity caught my eye when I saw it was coming out on Blu-Ray. I read a little about it and decided that I was going to buy it. I figured I'd watch the series first though so I would understand everything better. I went out and bought the DVD set for Firefly (half the price of the Blu-Ray) and the rest is history. I instantly fell in love with the show and finally finished it all and then watched Serenity earlier today. I can't believe I didn't watch Firefly before. One of the best shows I've watched in years. I'll see everyone around...

Jewel,
place your curser over your screen name and look at the bottom of your screen where is usually shows "DONE",.....it will show your membership number,your 28,350.

Wow, almost 7,000 new users since Sept 2007?
That means from Before Sept 2002, about 5,600 per year average (up to 28,000), and in the 15 months since then, about 5,600 per year average. Not the sort of drop-off one might expect, being zero drop off. Must be an anomoly in the curve.

i just watched serenity on blu-ray last nite and it was awesome to have part of the crew doing a video commentary during the movie...(pic in picture)
