What Good Sci-Fi am I missing?

These three aren't really sci-fi, per say, but Twin Peaks, Push Nevada, and Carnivale are all worth checking out. Push, Nevada might be hard to find, though, because it only ran six episodes...

Calhoun, the episode of B7 you mentioned is called "Weapon". It is in the second season.
Season 1 is now available on dvd region 2 and 4, but since I'm in the US, that doesn't help me much. BBC America's website says it is planned for a region 1 release sometime this year.

Anyone remember if Space: Above and Beyond was any good?
I think I watched it, been too long ago to remember what it was like tho.
Think it was a Fox series, canceled 1st or 2nd year around 1995.

SAAB was decent. Not outstanding, but good. Saw it just recently for the first time....it ran 24 episodes.

Space Above and Beyond is no Firefly.. but nothing compares to Firefly so its an unfair comparison.
If you like Sci Fi then you should definitely have SAAB in your collection. I have seen the series 3 or 4 times now and loved it. Colonel McQueen cracks me up, and the ep where Wang is doing his "dog act" impersonating McQueen.... high-larious.

No, Stargate rocks. Season 7 has been a bit down, but its still decent. And seasons 4-6 were stellar.

Another show that I don't believe anyone has mentioned is Jeremiah. The setting around fifteen years after a biological apocalypse that wiped out all the adults (over age of puberty) worldwide. I'd call it "low sci-fi" since there are no aliens/spaceships...it's populated by the kids that survived the "Big Death" and are trying to re-build the world. Created by JMS (ala Babylon 5), it is very character & arc driven and I was surprisingly impressed by some of the performances and the chemistry between certain cast members. Season 1 (approx 22 episodes) is out on dvd and season 2 (approx 15 episodes) is half-way done in US and otherwise in limbo. The latter half of season 2 is currently airing in Canada, so it will be completed one way or another. It was filmed for Showtime so the language is not sensored, which is actually kind of amusing at times...he he. I'm quite a fan of the show, but like any show I'm sure it's not for everyone. If you're interested you should buy (or maybe rent?) the season 1 dvd's or at least look into it a bit more, such as at http://abyss.hubbe.net/jeremiah/excl/buzz.html
If you do go poking around at the forums then be sure not to read TOO much since there are 2 seasons worth of spoilers scattered around. Give the show a look, you might like it.

Cleopatra 2525, its lightweight stuff, good for a laugh or two, and you do get to see Gina Torres pre-Firefly. You can still get the 1st season from R2, and the complete set is coming out to R4 soon.

We have only had the first season of Jeremiah in here in the UK and I watched becaue it was JMS. Babylon 5 was one of the best Scifi produtions of the last several years. Jeremiah is interesting but it doesn't look like season 2 will be aired here anytime soon sadly. And I watched Blakes 7 here many years ago and it was great. Ignore the effects the stories are great. And I also watched John Doe on the Scifi channel here, it was begining to get interesting and then .......it was gone! I'm hoping someone will pick up Carnivale cos Ive heard good reports about it but not holding my breath. And SAAB was good and had potential to be very good yet again cancelled. And SG1 rocks!!
