Just thinking about poor Mal's ear scene and it brought to mind other loss of ear episodes.

For example, and the Classic Granddaddy of ear removalness, the scene in Reservoir Dogs. Much as I love Firefly, gotta give credit to Mr. Blonde for sheer insane badness. And for dancing while torturing.

Another one is in The Big Lebowski. For those who haven't seen that most awesome of flicks, John Goodman rips a guy's (No, Donny, these men are nihilists, there's nothing to be afraid of.) ear off...with his teeth. Goodman, like our intrepid Captain, had war issues.

Any others?
