So, TOS season one is on an expensive HD-DVD hybrid...I can only hope they have a fire-sale or I'm gonna wait for it to see the inside of MY house...but the second is coming out DVD-only...now do I buy it? Or wait for BluRay...I think I'll just buy it...

What about other Browncoats?

Paramount is still adhering to their contract to support HD-DVD, despite it's defunk-ed-ness, so they don't have to pay back the money they got for going exclusive. nce the contract runs out, expect a Blu-Ray release.

Thanks for the info, Story- it's just I don't know if I really need ST in Blu-Ray, I read that you can see make-up flaws on Spock's ears & such...

When they finally get all of us buying blue-ray what is to prevent them from coming out with red-glaze.

I still have tons of VHS tapes and it would cost me a fortune to replace them.

Now I'm told my TV will need to be adapted to HD before the year is out or I won't be able to watch it.

I am tired of chasing technology. I think I'll go back to X-men comics. Paper still works fine and you don't need any adapters. I also think a new comic store opened up near me.
