Like to see a Firefly based PC game

Loyal Browncoats,
I was just thinking. It would be nice to have a RPG game based on Serenity/Firefly. The type where you initially purchase a ship, and after accumulating wealth can modify the ship/ or sell and upgrade. You could be a trader, smuggler, Pirate, Bounty hunter, Military and even.... "Reavers". You could accept missions to perform for experience and wealth. Just avoid Niska! LOL! Then you can interact with NPC's to hire/fire crew, sell booty, buy weapons, supplies, and run from the Alliance etc. Planets and Moons could be visited to barter, trade, buy, upgrade your ship, and sell. You could play the established and much loved characters, or create your own persona. Repeated run-ins with the Alliance would raise your wanted level. Bigger reward hence more bounty-hunters etc. Even random reavers. Just thought I'd share my idea with my fellow Browncoats!

I'd love a game like this

Although I'd like to be over-pedantic and point out that this would be an RPG, not a strategy/first person.

There was an MMO in the making (or at least the rights to make one were bought), but there haven't been any news in, well, a year or so:
