So here I am trying to write a technical procedure document... M$ Word decides that it knows more about computer command lines than I do, and keeps changing my spelling!
I try to edit my 'custom dictionary' to add the commands to my list of things to ignore, and it makes corrections there too!

I have a suggestion... We would only get to 1,000,000 votes if we remained above 1600 votes a day until the vote ended. (if it ends in January like they say) so trying to get to 1 million may be an unreasonable goal...I think we should focus on when we get to 750,000 votes (also a huge milestone) and 2 other goals... getting and STAYING above 10% of the total and (this next one is my personal dream goal...) to pwn the highest single day vote category... I bet if we could set up a day to do all this voting...Maybe the day AFTER the next CSTS. we could tronce the single day goal. Ya know steal everything from Xena. If we did it the day after CSTS we could get some buzz generated at the theaters, also hand out some flyers. I would LOVE to see a 3000 vote day for Firefly...Ya know domminate ALL the titles. ... Wait, There IS going to be a CSTS this year isnt there?

Gray, I like your idea of going for the one day record!
Right after CSTS would be an excellent time to try it. If we make up a flyer with the "mass vote date", and get some volunteers to distribute it at the local screening, we could run up some serious votes!

CSTS is also likely our best 'targeted marketing' shot as well. Hit up folk that may not hang out on the boards, or maybe voted once or twice & now ignore the vote threads or forgot about 'em...

In case you noticed my absence, I've been out sick as a dog for the last couple of weeks. I came back and started voting a couple of days ago, again, however. Jst not up to posting much.

We have a large new influx of people at SaveSurface, so I'm doing what I can to encourage them to help us by voting too.

Anyway, even if you don't see us, you can trust that we (Surface fans) are in the background voting away for FF.

While I was teaching Tae Kwon Do to a bunch of 4-6 year olds this evening, I came to the opinion that little kids are cute only so our heads don't explode!
Ye gods, was I ever so... so... gorram cute that despite doing nothing properly I could make the teacher smile? (It's a rhetorical question. Of course /I/ was never that cute.)

BSG could use some help, folks, if they are to make any headway against the westerns in the Top 5, and, they've extended us their voting support, as well.

The Top40 is recalculated every day, but for a show to move up, it must have a couple of hundred more votes than the show it is replacing (to avoid ping-ponging in & out of position 40 in the event of a hard fought battle).
