Hi all! My DH is playing a Firefly RP as a Jayne-like char. So of course I knitted him the cunning hat. Now he wants to go as Jayne for Halloween and wants me to be Kaylee. (I'd rather be Zoe) I found a shirt on eBay that I want to get, but I am just looking for the coveralls.

I really thought I'd find them at WalMart, but it was a no go. Where does anyone recommend that I can go and buy them in a store?? I don't mind ordering them if I have to, but I'd rather save that for last. But also, is there a web site that is better than others for ordering in case I need it?? Thanks in advance!!!

Is there an Army-Navy store near you? I know some Kaylee cosplays who have tried such luck, found army-green flight suits and lopped the sleeves off, making a pretty convincing (and pretty....pretty) outfit. OR, here's a thought - I've yet to see anyone do the yellow-brown ensemble, but Carhartts might fit the bill if you find the right size. Just find a rabbit or kitten patch to put over the Carhartt patch and you've got it knocked.
