I'm not sure I should be in here this morning. I am so very far from hyperness that I might even be the antithesis.

My head hurts, I'm tired, my stomach is playing up managing indigestion (despite only a banana and tea for breakfast), nausea and pain but to top it off, my wonderful other half accidently trod on my rubbish toe this morning. I owe my next door neighbour a huge apology for screeming the house down at half seven this morning. Of course the screaming row me and other half were having from seven probably woke her anyway.

I'm off to the beer garden to drink tea and wonder why my body hates me, hope your days go better than mine, or at least start better.

Rant over, may the silliness continue.

Aw! Gee! I'm so sorry for the domestic strife. Could it be that you are both stressed and unwell thus causing petty issues to take on dramatic proportions? I know I was HELL to live with my first few months of teaching and if I had a foot that was trying to kill me I'd be a bit grumpy too!

The domestic strife was entirely caused by a trainee teacher living with an overworked and unwell IT engineer. Row was basically a combination of me being tired, miss-communicating something late last night about a job I was meant to do in the kitchen and the consequences it caused this morning whilst we're both trying to get ready for work!

I'm just hoping that they find something during the endoscopy next week and that it can be fixed and that my toe appointment is good the following week as haven't had confirmation yet.

thanks for the hug roxy and concern from the others.

horrible day continuing but just for crappy work reasons.

Would head into the breakables room with a trusty golf club or two but don't have time. Shall share this thought as it struck me the other day when NVG mentioned going into breakables room with a particular club and I had an image of me standing there as a caddy suggesting, "Perhaps a five wood sir, the flex in the shaft should help generate the necessary head speed to deal with the nasty lie of that glass clown."

Can understand that one MisterG. Last concert I actually paid for was GnR and Metallica (wow that should really date me!). Now I look at prices and I just laugh (and cry) cuz they are such a rip off! A local bar was actaully charging $40 to go see Gin Blossoms a while back. wanted to take the Wifey () but there was no way I was paying that kind of cash to go to a bar!

I'm sure there are many dark corners in the breakables room but this is possibly not the safest place to lurk!

Can I put out a request for a couple of photocopiers to smash up? Apparently all three (yes we only have 3 for a college of thousands!) hate me today. I should like to take vengence for all the crumpled paper and toner stains on my clothes. What would you recommend Gee? I'm thinking the driver might be the most sturdy option but would it survive a galloping scream attack?

Maybe a few computers could be put to one side for those (like me) who believe they also need some payback!

Hey all, so calmed down now having been home and had tea.

Just got back from the supermarket and now have a mini football (of the American kind) to relieve stress in the office!

Thanks for the beer garden picture LA, forgot to mention earlier but it definitely lightened my day.

Emma, for a photocopier I would suggest a nice sand wedge, has the necessary extra weight in the head to carry through the machinery and you'll definitely want a steel shaft.

As for the proffered weaponry for the breakables room, being British and never having been near a firearm am I allowed to start with the ladies choice and work up to armour piercing rounds. Knowing me I'd end up shooting someone in the ass if I started with the heavy stuff.

Well dance class was great last night. MrG did a fantastic job learning tons of new steps ( as we had to miss the class before it and play catch up) It was loads of fun and we are getting really good at the triple step and the arch:)

I'm just happy to see there is another comic series due out next year. Hell, even straight to DVD flick have been pretty good lately. Some even see a limited release in theaters around the country. I'm checking out more screeners at my aunts this weekend. Seems most of those movies rarely see general release in theaters but that don't mean they aren't good.

I'd even settle for the BDS script or storyboards if they were ever released.

And a big YOU'RE WELCOME to the folks who loved the toys I brought for the Breakables Room. Seems there are more out there and I'm more than happy to offer them as needed.
