I just found a thread on IMDB, about the longest tracking shots in the history of cinema. IMDB lists the biggies: Scorsese, Hitchcock, Orson Welles, and so on, and then opened the thread for comments.

A buncha Browncoats turned up to plug for the shot in the beginning of Serenity, where we are introduced to ALL the crewmembers.

I hadn't realized that it was all one shot. Gonna hafta look at it again. Way to go, Joss.
