Here's the scenario: "Firefly" is being brought back as a new series. The storyline will continue the adventures of the crew after the Serenity movie. You are part of the new writing staff and are setting up the storyline for the new season. What major events would you like to see happen in the series/the characters' lives? Here are a few of my "must see TV" ideas to get us started:

1) Zoe needs to have Wash's baby. Seems too cruel to deprive her of a husband AND a child. Of course, the kid's name needs to be Zoban (a combo of Zoe and Hoban). "Hoey" just doesn't sound right ....

2) Mal and Inara need to further that relationship. Let's make with the smooochies, people.

3) Kaylee needs to take Simon home to meet her folks. Maybe they move in together (both of them sharing Kaylee's quarters), could be some fun tension generated that way.

4) We visit Jayne's home planet and meet his folks. Two possible scenarios there: Jayne is either the black sheep of the family or the most mild-mannered of the lot.

5) River gets her pilot's license. Hey, even a girl genius needs the paper, you know ...

6) The viewers need more clues about Inara's dark secrets. Drop them hints, writer people ...

7) Can we finally get the posthomous lowdown on Book's past? No fair to leave the fans hanging.

8) Speaking of visiting the folks, let's learn more about Zoe and Mal's families.

9) Villains: YoSaffBridg returns and this time she's back for Good--or maybe not. Since a Council Operative has failed big time, the ball is back in the court of the Blue Sun Corporation and the Hands of Blue men return to action.
