With every fibre of my being, I love ANGEL, and it deepens even more with each viewing.

From the introduction, in which Angel explains a little about how he came to L.A., to Doyle's telling him about the Powers That Be and his mission (Angel:"Why would a woman I've never met even talk to me?" Doyle, laughing:"Have you looked in the mirror lately? No, I guess you really haven't, no."), to Angel jumping in the wrong car while on his way to save the girl, to his inability to save the girl, and finally saving the 'right' girl, all the way to his sending the bad guy 'into the light', and making the decision to stick around and fully accept his mission.

This show is pure gold!

I'll join you, jwhedonaddict.

Ever since I finished watching the series on DVD, I still routinely get up early to watch my favorite episodes on TNT. It's actually gotten to the point where I watch Angel more than Buffy (I know, I'm a bad, bad girl ). Angel resonates with me more than Buffy, I think, because of the more mature themes that are handled. That and I got more than a little pissed at some of Buffy's characters

I can relate, or have related in the past, to damn near everything about all Joss's shows, I think.

Angel season 2 and Buffy Season 6, especially are recurring themes in my life even now. Edit: Plus, the part of Willow's dream in "Restless" in which she subconsciously still sees herself (or thinks that's how others still view her) as a dork--yep, still there.
