When these forums are down?

'Couple days ago, as far as I could tell, the site went down, and I couldn't get my daily fix of goin's on. I was ready to weep, thinking the site was gone altogether.

So was just wondering if anyone knows if a different site is setup to take the refugees in when this one is down.

www.serenitymovie.org is where a lot of people go. It's like this site, and there's even a thread just for when FFF.net is down.

Yup, ASortaFairyTale is right.

www.serenitymovie.org offers refuge.
The Fireflyfans.net is Down- We're Campin' Out thread is pinned at the top of the General Discussion part of the board.

www.stillflying.net is another great place to go.. not only can you visit on the board, but you can read all the really shiny stories that continue Firefly.

It's a great place to catch up on news.

The original board for Firefly that Fox started all that time ago, is another shiny place to go... it's fun to read the old original threads when the show started and all the activity thru the time they were working so hard to keep the show on the air is awe inspiring. It's here:

Then last but by no means least is the Skiffy board! The scifi channels Firefly board.
It's exciting and fired up and fun... I recommend all Browncoats become members and be active and enjoy this board. Here it is:

I just became a member of Serenitymovie.com. I got blown out of FireflyFans tonight and needed a fix. Seems to be a good site. Young compared to this one, but will probably grow. I finally got back on Firefly about a half hour ago. I have been away for a few weeks and was surprized to by the trouble I was having in creating a post.

Glad our friend Capture told me about Serenitymovie or I would have gone bonkers. I also go to IMBd. They have a Firefly Forum there if you need one.

But now I must be to bed.

The www.serenitymovie.org site is a continuation of the Universal board that they had up while the movie was being made. So it's young, but only in time, in members it's as old as this one.
Many of the members of the UB went to the Browncoat Board ( serenitymovie.org ) when it shut down.
Many of the members here are members over there.

I still very much miss the UB... it was a wonderful place,with so many people.. Joss and Nathan and probably others posted there. It was an amazing time and place.

Thank goodness when Uni shut the board down, Gossi (WhoisRiver over here) opened up the www.serenitymovie.org site and we all moved there.

It's a great place and although FFF.net is my home, the Browncoat Board is a secondary home, just as fully now. Since FFF.net has become so very unstable.. I count on the BB to be there when I need my FF fix.

Gossi used to have an archive of the UB up over there, but no longer does. I still have hopes that he will put it back up someplace for us all to be able to visit. It's Browncoat history... a valuable and wonderful place.
