Gah. He must have spent so long on it... and if Joss is Joss, he'd have poured so much of himself into it.

Is it Hollywood's mission to kick this talented man as many times in the crotch until he cries "Uncle" and writes crass, derivative junk like the rest of them?

It's not so much the writing of Firefly that needs to be done as getting somebody to put up the costs of production. I'm sure Joss could crank out script after script if the moguls stepped up with the lucre.

Besides...he's working on bringing Goners to life. The new Firefly comics will be out soon. Buffy season 8 is on the horizon. AND he's got Runaways to do too.

I think Joss had fallen deeply in love with comic books. He already loved them, it just seems he's doing a lot of work in the genre right now.
