Goof???

I was just watching Jaynestown and heard something I hadn't heard before.

After they land on the planet the mud foreman comes up to them and is talking on some sort of loud speaker system, you can hear it echo. He stops using it when he is describing the operation to them. Then Mal tells Simon to tell the foreman they are going to look around.

The foreman leaves and Mal turns to the group and says "Allright"

And his voice echos like he is using the loudspeaker!

Is it my imagination or did the sound man goof?

I did notice an echo where you talk about, but I think it isn't a screw up by the sound guy. I thought the the echos produced by the 2 different people sounded like they were of different quality. Mal's echo didn't have the tinny sound of the foreman's. I think Mal just made an echo by using his voice effectively in an area that allowed for such resonance.
