New England/NYC Browncoats Shindig Thread

The next New England Browncoat's shindig will be August 26th:

THE NEXT BIG DAMN SHINDIG

When: Saturday, August 26th
1pm til whenever (usually midnight-ish)
What: A Potluck Browncoat Event
Where: Private home in Concord area, NH
(Southern NH)

There will be a firepit to hang out around and access to a grill. It
is a Potluck so please bring food to share and BYOB. We have room for
a few tents in the backyard if anyone wants to stay over or there are
some hotels/motels nearby. I have floor space for a few.

So, bring your tent, any musical instruments, dvds, cds, stories,
Firefly RPGs, food, drink and anecdotes to share!

Please email an RSVP at Debra1138@gmail.com and put "Shindig" in the
subject line or include a comment through this board so that I can keep somewhat of a headcount. Also, to contact me with questions, or to find out more about hotels/motels in the area, please use the same email address, also with subject line, "Shindig". THE HALLOWEEN SHINDIG
(Complete with Jossy Costumy Goodness)

When: Saturday, October 28th
1pm til whenever (usually midnight-ish)
What: A Potluck Browncoat Event
Where: Private home in Concord area, NH
(Southern NH)

Weather permitting, there will be a firepit to hang out around and access to a grill and/or full kitchen. It is a Potluck so please bring
food to share and BYOB. We have some floor space available if anyone wants to stay over (please plan that with me beforehand) or there are
some hotels/motels nearby.

Also: COME AS ANY JOSS WHEDON CHARACTER....whether from comics,
series, movies or screenplays yet developed. There will be a Browncoaty door prize for the favored costume voted on by all.
