Just been watching Ariel again and have just noticed sheer A-Team-ness (If there is such a word) about the scene were Wash and Kaylee put together the working Ambulance from the scrap parts they found within the period of a day.

I think its a fantastic scene in an excellent episode but I can't help but imagine seeing Mal walk in to the cargo bay with a huge cigar saying "I love it when a plan comes together" whenever I watch it!

Now that you mention it, you're right! (even though I can't imagine Mal with a cigar, but I can see him saying something similar to that famous catch phrase )

The recap of Ariel at Television Without Pity said it was "this is all very A-Team, but everybody's already said that, dammit. Including people involved with the show." S, you're not alone.
