Independents Flag???

Anyone seen a site on the 'net that makes or sells the Independents flag? You know, the green one with yellow stripes and the black inverted star. I would love to get one in time for Dragon Con to carry in the parade.

That is definitely the flag I want, but that site only sells stickers and such. No actual flags.

Hmm....wonder if someone could make one locally from a picture.

I'm working on doing a "car flag" size like the NFL ones that have a stick you close in your window. I'm not sure when I will actually have them ready to go. Still in the test phase right now, I need to make sure that they wiill hold up to the weather first. I still have t-shirts with the flag if you want to tear one of those up and put it on a stick!

BTW - the star is supposed to be blue. Look real close in the beginning of Serenity Pt. 1!

Here's a confession that'll get me keelhauled if anyone has a keel to haul me on...

I know the Independents flag. Hell, I even know that the star is supposed to be blue... but I have seen each and every episode countless times and have frozen on likely frames and everything, and I have NEVER seen the Independents flag in the series, even though I have seen all kinds of purplebelly go-se plastered all over everything that stays still long enough to get something plastered on it.

Any of you fine folk able to tell me whereabouts I can see this gorram thing? The only Independents insignia I have been able to make out is the sleeve triangle with the authorization codes sewn on the inside... and I can't find a clear shot of even that.

That's it. Those two seconds of film are the only time we see it. The "flag" is just a full version of the triangle patch.
