Do we know where the Companion training house is located? What planet? Is there more than one?

Inara (and Nandi) trained at the Master House on Sihnon. It's implied that there are other houses on the other Core Worlds, at least.

But that's not the training house that's portrayed in the BDM. That's a new "expansion francise" somewhere on the Rim. I don't think the planet was named, but I'll check the Visual Companion to make sure.

Has to be close to the Haven colony to allow near instantanious communications.

Unless your assuming FTL comms of course.
