Anybody else wonder if Jasmine speaking in Chinese was a nod to us Firefly fans?

Okay, did anyone else catch that Fred said something about being "happy and shiny?" Hmmm...ponderponderponder
Also, firefly unrelated, but interesting. Lorn says "People need people and people who need people" and Connor says "are the luckiest people in the world". Now I know they're old song lyrics and it could just be that Joss or someone just likes that song, but remember way back in season one when DOYLE says that exact same thing?

Too much thought there.
"Shiny Happy People" is a reference to the REM song Shiny Happy People, which was the title of last week's episode.
Also, "People who need people are the luckiest people in the world" is from a Barbara Streisand song, and it's a quote people use ALL THE TIME. It's gone beyond the crappy song and ingrained itself into American pop-culture.
Sorry, no fan wank for you tonight!
