Not sure if this belongs here, but it's been on my mind lately while I count down to 12/20.
- Convert more folks to Browncoats (ongoing)
- Test my Firefly Rapid Conversion Scheme:
For those who don't have time to watch a whole episode, you show them a good teaser (TTJ, Shindig, Ariel and TM come to mind) then show them the BDM trailer and remind them of the upcoming DVD. It's still a work in progress but I've had some success.
- Watch the DVDs with French dubbing turned on:
Let me just say this. The French voice casting for the R1 DVDs is excellent. Plus, you know, Kaylee speaking French made me fall in love with the character all over again. (I leave the English subtitles on, BTW, but YMMV.)
- Mentally compose a fan vid or fan fic
- Compose a fan commentary for one of the FF episodes. (I'm seriously considering doing one on Ariel, if I can get the hardware together.)
- Read the FF fan fic already available (and what I've read so far has been really good, almost like getting bonus episodes of the series.)
- Scour the net for good fan vids (and there are some really good ones out there. Kudos to those of you who went through the trouble to put these together!)
- Ship copies of the DVD set to family members as Christmas gifts, along with the VC (for those who've seen the movie) and 'Finding Serenity' essay book for those of a more scholarly bent.
- Read through the RPG manual again and work up stats and back story for my character. (a cranky, though brilliant mechanic known as 'Bug'. Kind of an anti-Kaylee.)
Any other coping mechanisms out there?
Mal: This is the last time. Last time with cows. Hey, there was an idea regarding beagles? They have smallish droppings?
