Serenity II in '06?

A poll here on FFF.net asks whether we'd rather a return of Firefly to TV or a Serenity II in 2006. Ah dare to dream, but I wish we could have both. OK so my question is ...Is 2006 wishful thinking or has something been implied by execs or cast or Joss etc, that if Serenity is successful the next could come out in '06? It just seems fast. I mean I don't expect Joss to move as slow as Lucas, hell I don't expect a turtle to move as slow as Lucas, but to take only a year would be amazing. If this is a number thrown out for real though...I'm all for it. I hate long waits. The summer in between Lost episodes about killed me.

If there's a sequel (go see Serenity multiple times this weekend to ensure there is one), it won't be in 2006. Joss is signed on to do Wonder Woman and his new project (I forget the title) before a possible Serenity sequel. Whishful thinking might be 2008.

Yes, there is a very good chance of a new Serenity movie by '06 -- 3006.

Ya, and according to the Poll... i'm one of the few who would rather see Serenity 2.. then another season of firefly.
I think it might be cuz i like the movie so much... and there were explosions and stuffs
