Ok - I'm a big geek. I recorded the "Hollywood Insider" review off my local news station this morning and played it over and over so I could write it down word for word. Then I played it a few more times just because it was so shiny! Here is what they said:
"You don't have to know the series to enjoy Serenity. This is just good old fashioned space opera. It's really exciting. It's witty and funny; it's character driven; it has substance and even a few surprises. Now if you already know and like these characters it does make it even better. Anyone who likes sci-fi will dig it, but fans will be doing backflips. It's that good! You can consider me a new member of that club. Three and a half stars."
I was grinning ear to ear, but then the local anchor came on and said she was a big Buffy fan, so Serenity was at the top of her list. It just gets better and better.
