The Real Senior Partners.....

Ok I have a theory, which in all honesty I've not fully thought out yet, but I was chatting to Airylii* about Angel and something occured to me....
The Senior Partners.... are they a metaphor for Mutant Enemy the production team behind Angel and the kind of power they weild over their characters??? Sounds silly I know but something snapped in my mind when I thought about how Harmony introduces herself to Angel in Season 5 as his new assistant, because (and I paraphrase):
"They [Senior Partners] feel it would be good for you [Angel] to have a familiar face around the place to help get you started..."
There are of course several more examples of the Senior Partners effecting the out come of Angels life and I figured parallels could be drawn and compared to the Mutant Enemy gang....
...But on occaisions where big events were being made in Angel it was often hinted that the might of The Senior Partners was often whimsical, illogical or beyond immeditiate comprehension, much like the notions of where the show would be literally taken within the context of it's narratives by it's creators..... :( Or is this just me.....
Hmm I may need some sleep. Anyway as ever It'd be nice to shoot the breeze with you guys over this one, even if it is to tell me I'm loosing it!

*Airylii by the way is a member of this forum, I'm not that unhinged that I actually think I'm talking to 'Fred' from Angel, or Amy Acker paying Airylii from Angel for that matter!.....
