Our CEO kind of impressed me for the first time today. There is a call out to ANY Barnes and Noble Bookseller impacted by Katrina to go to the nearest B&N or B. Dalton, anywhere they end up, and contact the Human Resource Center at 800-799-5335. They are prepared to help in any way possible including temp housing and financial assistance. There is a command post at Store 2837 in Baton Rouge for any employee in the area. If ppl know any board or place in areas that are taking in refugees feel free to pass this on.
As of yesterday afternoon, 66 of 300 employees had checked in at various store all over the country. Multiple B&N's severly damaged, esp. three college bookstores in NO.

I love that store. Glad to hear the CEO has such compassion for the victims.
