Haisenfische concept

Thursday, April 27, 2006

And which Star Wars ship does THIS one look like? And for those of you who don't speak German, haisenfische means 'shark.' I went back to the camera again, mostly because my skills with *cough*Paint*cough* are even worse than my actual drawing skills.

Well, personally I think it bears a striking resemblance to the Talon Class dropship/gunnery-cruiser. I think they showed up in the Thrawn trilogy, and probably somewhere else in the Imperial Warlord era of the Expanded Universe.

sonnova.....and yeah, I got it wrong. Don't know how it turned into haisenfisch....just got an extra syllable mixed in. Thanks for pointing that out.

i'm not sure how much i would say it looks like a shark, you know?
like, a firefly kind of looks like a firefly.
i'm not saying it's a bad ship or anything, but i don't think of "shark" when i see it. it looks too bulky to be a shark.
you know what i'm tryint to say?

I made it 'shark' because of the rows of turrets, like a shark's rows of teeth. Also, in Pot25C, the door on the front opens as the hangar, so ships caught in the tractor beam were 'eaten' by the 'mouth.' I don't know really. I guess I was just looking for a name.
