Well, Tian is used for day as in Jin Tian=Today, Ming-Tian=Tomorrow
but Er (日) is also used as in Birthday: Sheng-er. Tian is also used for Heaven, tho.
My question to any fluent Chinese speakers / writers out there in the 'Verse is: Why is the first character different from the Chinese translater program? I tried using the word "peaceful" and "serene" and got the same chars as listed: 平静 Is the one used in the actual logo the simplified Chinese character? cuz it looks similar to "an" (peace) but the bottom part of the char is different. Any info on this -- the discrepancy?
