This is gorram shiney! You are so incredible gifted! Look at the way you made that beak and cockpit be just one smooth piece! And the whole ship balance is great! A very plausible, high-speed, little ship!
I know, for certain, that your Simon is extremely happy with it; and that he could not ever have wished for a better mei-mei! :)

Just as a note, the Albatross "nickname" was actually a reference to a old n' famous poem by Coleridge.
An Albatross is a bird which is supossed to be an good-luck omen back on old sea-ship vessels. In the poem one of the crew members shoots an Albatross that followed a ship in bad fog, leads to their downfall or something like that...Anyway, the Albatross nickname is a reference to that - River being the "boats" good luck charm.

For more information, look up Samuel Taylor Coleridge
"The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner"
A classic indeed, and a very nice scetch.
Are those guns mounted on the engines? I love how Serenity does not carry guns, but I love how everybody else does!
Looks very much like an Albatross in flight. You should write a fanfic about the Albatross, and her adventures in the 'verse. I would certainly read it!
