Kaylee read the note that was tucked into one of her overall pockets. It was so sweet and cute but what got her was that no one had signed it. She sighed; it was going to be one of those Valentine’s days.

Inara shook her head and laughed softly. Boyish charms always managed to make her smile. The note was tucked under her hairbrush in her shuttle. Mal found the note on his desk next to his Ship Log. He shook his head, crumpled up the note and threw it in the bin. He picked up his pen to write a note in the logbook, put the pen down and fished out the note from his bin. Mal knew most of the crew’s handwriting.
