I like how your work seems to have its own backstory. It makes me want to find out more (and makes me wish you had titles on these, for a little added insight!)

The grouping of characters outside of chronology in this one facinates me. Is what unifies them loss? Zoe's loss of Wash is so profound here, I can't help but conclude that "Joe" was a similar loss of young Mal's (as, based on the date, he and 16 year old Mal would be contemporaries).

Anyway, please keep it up. I'd love to see more from you.
