Nicely rendered..Watercolor's a difficult medium to keep transparent..What's the original size by the way?

Thanks for the comments.
The size is approximately 10x15 cms. To keep transparency I use thick Windsor black watercolor to give shadows first and very liquid ones after the B&W is dry. To get light, you can use a brush with clean water and a cloth over the area you want to shite.
