As River Tam walked into the kitchen where Book, Jayne, and Wash were playing poker, she wandered to the canned foods. When Wash looked back he saw her tearing the paper off each one of them. then he said while turning back to his hand, "Well we're gonna have a tasty weird meal"

Jayne looked at him funny " well your quite funny". "im nat joking" Wash said, "look at River". Book said " Jayne, you wouldnt mind taking care of that, would you?" " i got it precher" he said with a snap.

"hey goramm girl, stop it thats our food!" River stopped what she was doing, put down the cans and said "blue sun i can hear them, dont take me back!" "Get off" with a bit of shock he let go on what happened to him. Just as that happened Simon walked in to check on River, he caught what happened. "Get off her!" simon said. "huh" Jayne said with confusion, "she came on to me" he yelled. River dropped to the floor muttering "two by two, hands of blue". Later that night as Simon tucked River in he said "River, what happened?" "He feels simon" "Feels what:dissapointed:?" "me". Simon stopped talking he heard laughing from a distance. "Good night River" and kissed her on the forehead good night . He went in to the main part of the ship (where wash was). he heard "You said 'she came on to me'?" mal said, "Yeah". Then Simon walked in, Jayne said" what is wrong with that gorrammit girl?" "She said you feel" "Feel What exactly" "i Dont know"

. "well i think its sweet, you two together, now you dont have to fight over a woman" kaylee said. "she aint no woman" as jayne walked out. When Simon went back to check on River, he found that she was gon. "Jayne" he thought. Ml was walking to his room then we heard faint whisper from Jaynes.
