“I must…. I must finish my fanfic stories!” Sarahetc cried. She realized that the office workers were gathering against her. Her boss lay dead on the floor, his neck twisted gruesomely, and Betty, the receptionist screamed. Someone nearby yelled, “Hey, the boss is dead! Get her!”

Chaos erupted, and Sarahetc became a blur of violent motion. Leaping onto her desk, she kicked fiercely at the mob of office workers that suddenly surrounded her. She spun gracefully, a deadly whirlwind of broken fingers and noses. There are so many of them! In no time, a pile of people lay dead or unconscious around her, but others kept pouring in from down the hall.

Larry from accounting charged angrily into the room, wielding a large Swingline stapler. He threw it with surprising accuracy, but Sarahetc caught it and flung it back in single, fluid motion. The heavy stapler caught Larry right between the eyes, and he fell with a loud grunt.

Kick, duck, kick, spin... Can’t…keep…this…up...much...longer.... Sarahetc found herself panting with exhaustion, but the bloodthirsty mob showed no sign of giving up.

“She can’t get out now! We have her!” a woman yelled. Is that Mary, my assistant? Don’t think, just keep fighting!

Her desk was slick with blood, and Sarahetc suddenly slipped as she tried a backwards spin kick against Big Olga, the cafeteria chef. She felt a strong hand grab her ankle. There’s too many of them! She kicked and twisted furiously, but Big Olga held firmly and did not let go. With a cry, Sarahetc fell hard onto the desk. She gasped for breath. A heartbeat later, Big Olga pulled her to the floor and the mob was upon her.

drifting…the beating sun…beating down on me…like a heart, over and over. hot. a bright day, too bright, the beating sun, too bright to fly... need a dark place to sleep. tired. cannot fly, cannot keep flying...

“keep flying!” calls a voice.. . “sarahetc, get up!” The voice is stern, familiar. filled w

Episode V: The second installment of the series.

This episode ties up many loose ends concerning Episode IV, while creating many questions which will be answered in Episode VI.

I can't wait for the next Sarahetc episode to come out. Thanks for entertaining us Succatash. Your "dream sequence" reminds me a bit of the style used by Jennifer Roberson in the Cheysuli Chronicles. Very expressive. I may have to take on the challenge of a fanfic. It kinda looks fun to try.

My new hero! If'n Zoe and the crew don't come back, I know who to root for!

Sarah, don't worry, I know Succatash, and I know that he was not implying anything unseemly with this story. He is a good-natured fellow.

Having reread it, my favorite part is definitely all the kung-fu.

He's a good natured fellow and too smart for his own good.

Well done. I can only imagine the destruction if she had a weapon!

I sense The Matrix...or is that just me. That's what the fighting reminded me of anyway...
