OMG, I never really noticed that. I just focused on Wash the whole time. It never occured to me to look down at the mule. Maybe it's Alan's good looks that kept me mesmerized.

The engine being turned off was clear to me from the start, but I couldn't figure out why. Why not, you know.

Then a friend told me it would be hell to record dialogue with the mule's engine on. So...Mystery solved as far as I'm concerned.

Could always argue ATVs/"Mules" in 2517+ use hybrid engines that don't run like normal IC motors;)

I remember years ago going through the DVDs looking for all of these - like the hand throwing snow in the Message etc - but it's nice to see a screen cap of it ... how's about doing the rest?

I have another but you'll have to see it to believe it. A picture won't do for this one. In OOG, there's a flash-back.

Around the "What's that?""Freedom" dialogue, somebody off camera is moving the lighting. But we see the wire on the floor move. Gina watches it go and almost starts to laugh.

It distracts me everytime I see that now.

You guys have any more?

I went back to check the scene and discovered something else.

If you're DvD has a 'zoom function', you can also make out a stagehand pushing the mule down the ramp and running off screen to the right!

Great pic, funny I always looked at that scene to see if I could see the skull, but never saw the hand. Okay, here's one kiddies, in the movie, when Mal is looking at the video of Inarah and they pan back to show him sitting down look at what's just to the left of him. Yep, it's his TOILET! The FIRST toilet seen in space. I lol when I saw it, I wonder if Joss thought people would notice? I'll have to look for those others mentioned.
