hey, thanks for bringing that up. I love it, too.
That was one of the (many) things I was sad about in regards to the show being cancelled. I loved their relationship and would have liked to see it develop more. I think Inara, more than anyone else, would have become a confidant of Simon, because she understood him the most.
Also, I think that Simon would probably be the one that would have found out her big secret that we all want to know so very much.
Like what was in that syringe!
Oh well. It was a sweet moment.

Awww, poor guy. Ooooh, CMS, nice...I (almost) completely forgot about the syringe! Maybe he would have found out...coolness. :-D
