Not a bad start. I like the idea a lot, but a few suggestions. Jayne is kiknda stretched a bit and I'd only have the line once - I like the one at the top better. But it is a very good start!

I actually like it written twice, but that's just my opinion. I love the color scheme and the particular shot you used. It's great!

I think Jayne looking stretched is actually a bit of an optical illusion because I captured him and the Firefly background off a DVD and haven't changed the size or ratio of either.
I would have loved to have been able to put the light burst of the logo in front of the plaque but I don't have the technological wherewithall to do that sort of thing and keeping it looking good.
