I'm offering up my first born to anyone who can make or find the firefly logo font. The gif I'm using for these posters is driving me mad.

Heh. I know the feeling. Bickley Script is fairly close, but I have seen one that is almost a match to the Nuptial. I'll seen if I can find the link to it.

Bickley Script is not it. The Bickley Script font is cursive, whereas the font on the title credits is calligraphic.
Except for the ligature between the "f" and the "i" at the beginning, look at how none of the characters connect.
Nuptial is close, but a poor match because the curves don't match and there is no ligature in that font (which I've purchased, FWIW).
