Excellent, but boy wouldn't I love to slam one of Jayne's right hooks into Gabriel Tam's scheming face. Can't wait for the next part. Ali D :~)

Just got all caught up. And caught up, too. Nice work, and interesting also.

<SIGH> Does anyone just want to smack Kaylee once in a while? For once, Simon didn't say anything stupid and was actually standing up for her, and she STILL throws a fit. Despite being a dedicated S/K shipper, I'm almost rooting for Simon to hand her over to Jayne. At least then she'll know her man isn't planning anything sneaky.

On the other hand, Mal calmly asking three fighting Companions if he's interrupting anything is perfect. I can even see the slightly amused expression he'd be wearing.

While I don't want her to be with Jayne anytime soon, I do have to agree with ManicGiraffe. He's doing all this for her. To do the right thing. This isn't the time for her to be petty, if she knows what's at stake.

But still am looking forward to seeing how all this turns out.

Damn, I feel bad for Simon. If he does the right thing for his sister, he loses kaylee. If he does the right thing for kaylee, then he cant do right by his sister. Kaylee needs to see what Simon is going through and stand by him while he does whats right for his sister. Its not all about her.

Anyway, just had to get that off my chest. great work! keep em coming, NEED to know what happends next!

Changed some stuff, as apaprently I'm not all that good at writing Simon being not all that good at communicating. Definitely, it's not supposed to be all on Kaylee's end.

Yeah, that makes more sense now. I especially liked the "We'll talk later". She's not completely unreasonable and writing him off, and is willing to work it out if he can stop sticking his foot in his mouth.
