Its my poster and some promotional materials that a friend gave me from an Ohio Shindig and of course, some lovely print-outs of the magazine scans people have posted here at FFF.net (thanks you guys!)

The two kanji symbols are (top) Victory and (bottom) Dream.

Now only if I could find a buddha statue to replace Athena so she can go elsewhere in my room. Oh well.

Check an Asian gift shop for a Buddha statue, or even a place that does concrete statuary. (We got a really cool one for my mother-in-law from a concrete place, but it's pretty big and wouldn't fit on that table you're showing). Failing that, you can find them online. Check around because prices DO vary.

firefly was, just recently, on tv. the scifi channel was airing episondes as part of it's "scifi friday"

Actually, I think that's John Stewart on with Leno. Kudos to your taste, both in decor and shows. Stewart is the funniest man on TV today and, unfortunately, more informative than most news programs.

Its actually George Clooney. I think he was promoting his new movie about the McCarthy sort of dealio and communism.. or maybe he was talking about Syriana.. I don't quite remember. But I do LOVE Jon Stewart like a madwoman. I'd have his children if he didn't already have any.
