Serenity as (Aliens) Dropship - Revised

I am writing as series of stories using this design. Interiors are basically the same, although I have added a bit more space.

Reasons why, you ask?
1 Why do anything?!
2 I rather like the drop ship design.
3 I really don't care for the original design (OMG Heresy!!), although it has grown on me over time.
4 Never really understood Mal's attraction to this ship (is it because it looks like a horse - with the worst case of hemorrhoids in the 'verse?), I would have thought that given his character he would have gone for some old military surplus spacecraft. This seems to me to be a missed opportunity for a story line - the 'history' of Serenity before it became Serenity.
5 A number of the stories I have written for myself required a slightly larger ship. Does this indicate a lack of discipline on my part? Or just pushing the boundaries?
In any event I hope people like the drawing. By the way, there are secret compartments everywhere. Where? I am not going to tell you - they are a secret! There is also a (cue drumroll) laundry room!
