I dont know how to make this smaller. It looks so much better small. can someone help? it looks small but every time it uploads extra lg.

What program are you using?
Most programs will have a section (and I'm going off Photoshop here) similar to "image" which will lead to "image size" and you can change the size from there.
Also make sure when you're viewing the image it's set at 100%, then you can judge how big it will be.
Is that any help at all?

I'm Scanning them then saving Thats all. It's hp scanner all in one.
