That's beautiful.
Offical poster?
Available for purchase?
Universal could make a ton selling these just on acouple of fan boards.
Universal, Don't pass up a chance to take my money.

Really - how many fans multiplied by whatever they want to charge = a couple truckloads of cash... the original image came from user frscpe who said,
"This was a poster for the BDM that was shown at ComicCon, by way of comingsoon.net."
Link from 'Versal board:

I have to say...with all the upset over Inara and Book and they're role in the movie, it's awful nice to see all nine faces on the poster!

Oh, plus also, who noticed the the word "assassin" on River's right shoulder directly above her gun.

River is always so sexy when she is being very freighting gives a guy the right kind of shivers

A nice character poster like they did for lord of the rings star wars etc but i don't reckon its suitible main poster. Wheres that beautiful serenity logo, and those faces of the rest of the cast shouldn't be there like that. It needs to be more simplistic. I hear thats what this is, just a character poster. Not the one that will be in cinemas,

By something simpler, you must mean less interesting, right? Don't forget that the general public knows nothing about Firefly. /We/ may understand something simple like the word "Serenity" and a date, but the general populace will just be bored by it. This poster is perfect!

Perfect poster, I don't want simplistic I want THIS! Also, I am hoping there will be a variety of posters and that they will all come out for purchase too. After all you can go to the Forbidden Planet and similar outlets and buy a variety of posters for films, the more popular movies having a range of posters to choose from. Our BDMs and the fans deserve no less. Ali D :~)

It was very exciting. At Comic Con we got a poster that Joss Signed like, five minutes after it got off the presses for one of the raffle prizes. It's really nice, and holds a lot of intrique for people.

I was trying to form words ... all I could come up with was ...

DAMN!

Good God, thats Brilliant!. I must have this poster!

Hmph. I think I would have given her a bigger gun ... you don't hold a pistol by the barrel like that -- even if it's a SpPistol ... but it's got the right composition. Catches people's eyes, makes 'em wonder.

It's hard to tell who the cast members are along the lower-right, though. Is that Wash, Inara, Zoe, Jayne, Book, Kaylie, and Simon? The white-bearded figure doesn't look much like Book.
