Summer is ALWAYS beautiful. . .but. . .if this makes sense. . .they made more effort to make river 'hotter' in the movie. They always do.
River just wasn't QUITE this hot in the show.

Notice the sexed up Zoe. Somehow skin-tight leather doesn't seem like a good idea for professional soldier. It is, however, easy on the eyes.

I'm really saddened after watching the movie preview. The clips fly by so quickly, they spend more time showing Joss's name than any clip of the show. Also Looks to me like not only did they make River hotter, they did alot to hollywood everyone up. I thought the appeal of the show was its's techno-rustic nature and the fact that only the Geisha had any couth. Poor Firefly, oh how the Lowly have Risen

Very nice image... I too was disturbed by the Hollywood slickness of the trailer... I actually didn't recognize Summer at first, though I knew it had to be her. *sigh* Ah, for more rustic and less Hollywood-ization.
