This'll be one of the few boards with all sorts of planets of the 'Verse on it. I'll be interested to see how you worked out the locations - this image makes 'em look great!

I've playtested this game, and it is at least seven kinds of fun. Maybe eight ...

Graphically this game is sound. However the gameplay is very stagnant. The premise of the game is to run around the board and get money. Ships cannot be upgraded and jobs are very skewed to benefit experienced players (high paying jobs and multiple jobs on certain planets).
Firefly ships cannot be harassed by Alliance or Reavers when in the home port. We found that sitting on a home planet next to all the riches job planets and "leap frogging" to earn hordes of money defeats the purpose of the game. Also, players who only do legal jobs are immune to Alliance (which makes most players, since its nearly impossible to accumulate enough notoriety to be concerned about being prisoned).
The pursuit idea is interesting, however all novelty gets lost when this "movement based game" has fixed movement of 2 hexes for each player. Also, the limited number of events makes the game very mundane.
Besides game mechanics, there are a lot of spelling errors (Toursits, Osirus, etc.) and some jobs don't make any logical sense (Rescue a browncoat from Shadow by bringing him to Shadow.)
Make no mistake, I love Firefly. I am veteran board gamer with designer experience. This game does not do the show any justice. If you like eye-candy, look into this game. Otherwise, I guarantee this will collect dust after the first sitting.

Thanks for your input, Mr. Anonymous. Sounds more like sour grapes to me. The game is meant to be played with more than a few players, so that might have been your biggest problem. And Osirus is spelled correctly. One typo does not kill a game. Sorry you feel that way. I might also suggest using your vast game-making experience to tweak the game as you like it. For example, you can remove all of the "No Event" cards to make more unexpected events occur more often. Allow Alliance ships to nab players in home port if you like. Whatever.

So, people have played it, but I didn't see a link for a download or an online shop.
Where can I get it and make my own opinion of this game?
