Magazines dates are the 'pull date'. That is when the Newsstand is supposed to pull them to make room for the next issue.

It's common for magazines to be dated this way. I got the magazine on the 15th but the date on the cover is the 21st.

Very lovely but in true comic book fashion they over exagerate the woman's endowment. Gina Torres is a fine lookin' woman to be sure but she is not in any way buxom. She is lean and muscular she doesn't even have the usual black/latina women's birthright of "junk in the trunk". Still ... I would buy this poster sized in a New York minute.

Gina is buxom enough for my likes. She's not Jessic Rabbit, but then, who is ? ( sorry ) I just wanted to add that when I heard there was going to be an animated version of Firefly, I was thinking ( Riddick, Animatrix ) But these works have a grittier, Norman Rockwell (?) feel to 'em. Or something. Cool, but not what I expected.

They call that Dynamic Anatomy, I believe. There's a book to show you how to do that.
I don't think it's so much that she's been more heavily endowed, I think it's more that they "Barbie-fied" her waist. Gina's slender, but not THAT slender.
Norman Rockwell is a good comparison, AURaptor. I need to track down this issue, find out who did the illustration. These can only be concept character drawings. Ain't no way true annimation looks like that. Ever.
