Sadly this is only a fan based teaser poster - I hope my Chinese hand on the serenity symbol is acceptable first time I have tried to write Chinese and I do it using a mouse!

This is purdy. I don't like the way the side of "jing" seems to grow out of Cappy's left eye and eyebrow like a Borg implant--nor his missing hair.
Plus the groupings of four are unlucky because "four" (si4) sounds close to "death" (si3) in Chinese, but if you want to movie to fail... ;-)
Anyway, overall I do like it very much.

Hi thanks for the comments. Have to say that flying2 makes some really interesting points here. As a Welsh man I have little or no exposure to chinese culture and so was worried I could easily offend if I wasn't careful.
The pic was designed whilst trying to learn Photoshop CS and I just pulled in ideas from pictures out there on the net already, although I re-drew the Serenity logo.
The groupings of tiles were simply found on the net and seemned to fit what I was trying to do.
It was my second attempt at a Serenity poster, the other was primarily text based.
Hopefully once I truly learn Photoshop I will create some more goodies to share.
