Both crews were in the commons area of Serenity crammed around the big oak table. The sofa and armchairs had been brought up to add extra seating along with a couple of sturdy crates. Book and Inara were handing out mugs of actual real coffee, a fact that delayed talking while Serenity's crew made assorted sounds of appreciation and bliss. It had been a long time since they had tasted anything but re-boiled grounds. The Captain let his gaze drift over Jerrod Perkins and his crew then over his own.
