I think needleseye is a mind reader... I had this idea but was unsure how to end it, so when needleseye suggested Stan's Projectile Vomiting, bingo. Anyways, I suspect Simon's thought pattern when talking to girls is a lot like a dating sim. He's just not that good of a decision maker. (For those who have no clue what I'm talking about: a type of video game (mainly popular in Japan) that simulates dating relationships, giving the user a list of choices for each situation.)
