Cute, though I'm not quite sure what's up with the guys' jawlines. The only flaw in what other wise is a pretty much perfect piece.

Well, and some of the eye colours are off. But the spirit of the characters is good.

There will be a Serenity Reboot... Eventually... Actors will be recast. The color of our heroes' eyes will change.

For example, when the Reboot happens I'm fairly sure that brown-eyed Summer Glau, when in her early-thirties, will not be recast as teenage River. There might be an actual teen playing River -- one with blue eyes -- like in this painting.

I flexible and optimistic about that Serenity Reboot!

None of them looks like the original performers. but they all look like the characters. I share your hope for a reboot, but I think it'll be an uphill task finding a cast that meshes so well as the originals.

Oooh, maybe Kaylee or the Tams can be Chinese (or is Tam Vietnamese? Not sure) so that people stop flaming us about the Anglo-*SINO* Alliance.

I just wish Joss would hurry and get all of his ideas down somewhere, so if the reboot isn't for a very long time and some other producer takes over, they have all the notes.

I, for one, am loving this!
The animated version of the 'Verse is shiny indeed. Okay, so the guys opted to have a 'chaw' of tobacco for group picture (shows how tough they really are, even Simon)(insert chuckle here)

I'm ready for Serenity 2 folks. Now I'm really feeling the idea of a reboot as well. River with blue eyes? Could happen.

How about showing Wash in flight school. Or Inara during her companion training. Book before he became a badass shepard, back when he was a badass ???????

It's worth exploring. Joss, get on it.
