Melody Anderson's acting career seems to be on hold as she devotes her time to being an expert on families and addiction. She received her Masters in Social Work and went on to create the Friends & Family Program and the Intensive Out-Patient Program at Hazelden, New York. She currently has a private practice in New York City ands lectures on addiction. She does admit, however, that acting is still in her blood and if the right part comes along, she would consider it.

I've liked Melody ever since she was in the Battlestar Galactica episode Experiment In Terra. I met her this past January in Orlando at Megacon, and she sat in on a panel with Dirk Benedict and other Galacticans. Great lady!

Yeah, I think it's fairly cool that she's doing that kind of work, though I wouldn't mind seeing her on screen again. At least she doesn't give off the vibe of someone who, having been once briefly in the limelight, spends the rest of their lives trying to pretend that that's still the case.
